Improve the visibility of your web site!
Once your site is live (accessible through the Internet) you need to concentrate on web site promotion. Search engines will not automatically index your site from Day 1 and have people start to visit, unless you promote it and maintain it.
First step: The first important step is submitting your web site to search engines and directories, and perform any of the following methods, depending on your budget and/or needs (click on a title to go to the topic):

Reciprocal links exchange
The best-known method of improving link popularity is to contact the web designers of web sites that are complementary but not competitive to your own and ask them to add your URL (your web site address) to their web sites. If you select this option, I will start a search. You can help by suggesting me any name you can think of. I will offer to link back to them in exchange for this courtesy.
Submission to specialized web sites
A very efficient, cost effective way to increase the visibility of your web site. How does it work: I search for listings web sites that rank well on search engines and are specialized in your field and list businesses like yours. I then submit your site to these web sites, which usually charge a low to moderate fee.
Search Engines Optimization (SEO)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results - to enhance the positioning of the web site within search engines.
Sponsored Listings
Paid results which appear on the top and on the right of the page of the search engine are sponsored listings. In this case you bid on "keywords" that you believe your target market would type in the search bar when they are looking for your type of product or service.
This kind of promotion is also known as Pay-per-Click promotion, because you pay a fee every time a user clicks through your web site, which means that you pay every time a potential customer visits your web site. The performance of the sponsoring is constantly monitored to assure its efficacy.
